UNC-CH Paksoc would like to bring awareness to the ongoing issue of acid attacks in Pakistan. Acid violence is a form of torture that involves throwing acid at a victim's face. This form of domestic violence is usually directed at women, and its effects include loss of eyes or limbs, corrosion of organs, and serious infections. It is a serious issue that must be addressed.

We are committed to helping support survivors in their healing and create avenues to prevent these detrimental attacks from happening.
